The text 'Meet Whitney' in stylized black font.

Whitney Lallas is a family law attorney and certified mediator based in Maine. She represents clients in divorce, parental rights and responsibilities matters, premarital agreements, property division, post-judgment matters, and appeals.

With a background in business management, Whitney has a natural proclivity for the financial side of family law, including complex asset division, support issues, business interests, and retirement accounts.

Whitney approaches family law with the belief that litigation should be intentional, not performative. She does not believe in creating conflict for the sake of conflict, particularly when doing so can increase financial and emotional costs for families. Whitney prioritizes practical, settlement-focused resolutions whenever possible because they often allow clients to maintain greater control over the outcome while reducing uncertainty and expense. At the same time, she understands that not every case can or should settle. When the settlement options on the table are no longer favorable or acceptable, Whitney is prepared to shift course and provide steady, strategic, and measured representation in the courtroom.

Whitney earned her law degree from the University of Maine School of Law and her undergraduate degree in Business Management from the University of Maine. She received her mediation training through the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers.

Whitney serves on the Board of Directors for Kids First Center and is an active member of the Maine State Bar Association Family Law Section and the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts. In 2025, she presented at the Maine State Bar Association Legal Year in Review for Family Law and regularly presents at Together Invested’s Maine Divorce Workshop.

Outside of work, Whitney enjoys golf, spending time with her partner, Corey, and their mini Goldendoodle, Bruce, and visiting family in North Conway.
